Use Word documents, PowerPoint, SMART Notebook and Wordle to create published work that is then assembled in a 3-layer scrapbook-like cube.  This fits into the Grade 1 curriculum.  Layer 1 is about the student, layer 2 about school and responsibilities and layer 3 about the larger community.  The final product is a polished keepsake of the student’s writing.  This could be adapted to a variety of grades, subjects and projects.

Engage students in an outdoor learning experience!  River Watch provides the equipment and protocols for students to collect valuable data about their watershed.  Students collect the water on site and analyze the water for various parameters such as turbidity, DO, pH and conductivity using various technologies such as the Pasco Explorer GL, a YSI Sonde Unit and other stand-alone sensors.  Data can be stored and analyzed using an online database.
